Gym to Crag

Gym to Crag is a 2 day progression to designed to prepare the aspiring climbing to transition form indoor climbing in a facility to the outdoor setting.

Skills covered: Introduction to outdoor climbing safety; judgment and decision making outside; movement outside; 3rd and 4th class terrain scrambling; belaying considerations for outdoor climbing; anchoring; rappelling; Following lead climbs, how to build top rope anchors; problem solving, and advanced skill progressions. All technical equipment can be provided, but you are encouraged to bring your own.
