Autumn on the Connecticut Traprock

It is the perfect time to get out climbing with Ragged Mountain Guides.  The air is dry, and temperatures are crisp, and the fall colors are beginning to show their glory.  Here are a few photos from a small group we had out last weekend.  These photos show a team from the US Coast Guard Academy out on a trip.  Some of the photos are mine, but the good ones are courtesy of Les Owen.  Thanks for forward thing them over, Les!

It’s not too late for fall climbing here in Connecticut, or over at the Gunks.  In fact, the Gunks is a worthy destination even in cooler temperatures as it faces South East and get early sun.  The Arrow Wall can stay nice and warm all day long.  We have lots of November availability over there, so be sure to get in touch if you want to climb like a hero on perfect quartzite a thousand feet above the Hudson Valley.

We have set ourselves apart from the competition by having high end experiences with our guests.  Come joins us!
