A Gear Intensive Week….

The past week has seen me doing lots of gear intensive stuff, like building complex top rope anchors with Schuyler, aid climbing with Andrew, and cragging with Andrew and Eric.  Between lugging extra static rope around, standing in aiders, and getting that darn fifi hook caught on everything, I’m ready to go bouldering!  Well, not quite!

Transitioning from top rope climbing to belaying from above has additional considerations, including tool choices and stance

We’ve still got a spot or two available in next weeks AMGA Single Pitch Instructor Course, and an AMGA CWI program at Prime Climb.  Get in touch asap if you are interested.
